Essence I LOVE (heart) GLAM powder eyeliner & eyeshadow

All right, so apparently you can't put <3 in the title of a post.  But anyways... here's the eyeshadow/eyeliner product

Here's the little brush!  Well, actually, it's a little spongy.  It's not really a normal sponge wand, but it's more of a rubbery sponge.  I think it's a really nice size as well.  It's a little wider than a dulled pencil eyeliner.
And here's a few swatches, a thin one and a thicker one.  You can see in the first photo that there's some teeny tiny flecks of blue glitter.  It's a pretty dark color, and if it's not quite black, it's a very very dark charcoal.  It's quite pigmented as well- that's just one line.  I didn't have to go back over it, and I didn't have to dip the wand back in for the thicker swatch.

This is the swatches after I rubbed them with my finger.  I think that if this was applied over a cream base or primer, it wouldn't smear as much.  This will make a really pretty soft black eyeliner, as well as a really great product for setting black eyeliner.
Update (well, not really an update, since I'm updating before I actually publish this post...)  I applied it as an eyeliner, and I have no clue why I said it would make a soft black eyeliner.  Exhibit A:
It's still just as pigmented on my eyes.  Love it.  Note: I did get quite a bit of fall out under my eyes from this.  A LOT of fall out.  I  brushed it away and that just smeared it into my skin.  But when I wiped it away with some toilet paper (Yes, sometimes I do that.  I do my makeup in the bathroom, and that's the closest thing handy.  Don't tell me you never do that!) it came right off.  I don't know what that means for the longevity of this eyeliner, but we'll see.  I'd say to prevent any fall out from showing up, do the eyeliner before applying face makeup.  Then wipe it off, and continue along with your makeup.  Problem solved!  I'll update when I can about how well it lasts!

This is also quite a pretty essence eyeshadow.  It's a cream eyeshadow, but it's got a different formula than the stay all day eyeshadows.  The packaging on this is really neat, as it's got a bright mirror-like cap.

You can almost see the pretty purply pink blue duochrome effect of the eyeshadow in the shot above...

It's got a different texture than the stay all day eyeshadows.  To me, it actually feels kind of like an eyeshadow primer.  It is really really smooth.

Here's a good picture of the pinky purple duochrome. (above)  The next three swatches are my attempt at showing you what the shadow actually looks like.  It was really tough...but you can definitely see it a whole lot better in person.

I think this eyeshadow would last nearly all day.  After letting it set for a few minutes, I rubbed it a few times and it stayed on pretty well.  I think it will make a really good eyeshadow base!

Essence Stay All Day long lasting eyeshadow: Stars&Stories

This is FANTASTIC.  Just saying.  I've been wanting a really metallic silvery eyeshadow for a while, and this is perfect!  I'm mostly going to let the swatches and pictures speak for themselves, and sum it up in the end.

I think the middle swatch picture shows the metallic-ness of the shadow the best.  It's very metallic with some really little silver sparkles.  The texture isn't chunky or anything, and it applies really smoothly.  And I do think that it will stay all day- only a few minutes after I swatched it, it was rock solid.  I rubbed my fingers over it, and the only thing that came off was a little bit of the glitter.  The glitter won't be going all over your face.  I shall give this an A+

Essence: eyeshadow singles in Back to Khaki, Metropolitan, Party All Night, and Disco Diva

These eyeshadows are great!  They are only $2 at Ulta, and although some shades from the line aren't the best, several of them are quite nice.  I tried out four shades (three neutral, one purple) and I realy like them!
Back to Khaki, Metropolitan, Party All Night, Disco Diva

Back to Khaki
Metropolitan
Party All Night
Disco Diva (above and below)

Back to Khaki is GORGEOUS!  I love this one for a simple slightly smokey eye look.  It's a silvery greenish gray that's the perfect mix between shimmery and satin.  It's hard to describe the finish...but it's great.  It's got a tiny bit of golden sheen to it as well.
Back to Khaki, Metropolitan.  Metropolitan is a rich, slightly reddish (SLIGHTLY) matte brown with gold micro glitter.
Party all night is a golden champagne color.  It's highly metallic.  And very purty.
Disco Diva is a pretty purple.  It's not really metallic, it's more of a shimmer.  It's also a little more blue than this picture is showing.
