wet'n'wild color icon eyeliners: Cool Green, Amethyst, and Olive

Olive you, wet'n'wild.  (haha...)  So, pun aside, I do love these eyeliners.  I'm quite sure that the cool green shade is being discontinued (which is sad because I lovee the color of it.  However, I can still find it in most of the drugstores I've been to lately), but it's not too bad because the formula of the new shades is wonderful!  The new colors I have (Amethyst, Olive) are very creamy.  So here's some pictures and swatches:

 Just soo pretty!  I think Amethyst and Olive would be really pretty on people with brown or green eyes (and I'm sure they'll suit my blue eyes just as well.)  I don't know if you can really tell, but the cool green shade isn't quite as creamy as the others.  That doesn't mean it isn't creamy, because it works just fine on my eyes.  I did have to go over the swatch a couple of times, and the other two eyeliners glided on (I feel like the past tense of that should be glid.  Help?) with only one swipe.  Amethyst and Olive have more of a golden shimmer to them, while cool green has a more cool metallic sheen.  (go figure.)

Just to test out longevity, I smeared my swatches.  The cool green liner (which is the only one I have worn on my eyes so far) smeared the least of all (which is probably the result of being a little less creamy).  Worn over a primer, cool green stays rock solid on my eyes all day.  I'm thinking amethyst and olive should do the same, especially if I set them with a little eyeshadow.

Overall, these eyeliners are quite lovely!

Essence I LOVE (heart) GLAM powder eyeliner & eyeshadow

   All right, so apparently you can't put <3 in the title of a post.  But anyways... here's the eyeshadow/eyeliner product

 Here's the little brush!  Well, actually, it's a little spongy.  It's not really a normal sponge wand, but it's more of a rubbery sponge.  I think it's a really nice size as well.  It's a little wider than a dulled pencil eyeliner.

   And here's a few swatches, a thin one and a thicker one.  You can see in the first photo that there's some teeny tiny flecks of blue glitter.  It's a pretty dark color, and if it's not quite black, it's a very very dark charcoal.  It's quite pigmented as well- that's just one line.  I didn't have to go back over it, and I didn't have to dip the wand back in for the thicker swatch.

This is the swatches after I rubbed them with my finger.  I think that if this was applied over a cream base or primer, it wouldn't smear as much.  This will make a really pretty soft black eyeliner, as well as a really great product for setting black eyeliner.
Update (well, not really an update, since I'm updating before I actually publish this post...)  I applied it as an eyeliner, and I have no clue why I said it would make a soft black eyeliner.  Exhibit A:

It's still just as pigmented on my eyes.  Love it.  Note: I did get quite a bit of fall out under my eyes from this.  A LOT of fall out.  I  brushed it away and that just smeared it into my skin.  But when I wiped it away with some toilet paper (Yes, sometimes I do that.  I do my makeup in the bathroom, and that's the closest thing handy.  Don't tell me you never do that!) it came right off.  I don't know what that means for the longevity of this eyeliner, but we'll see.  I'd say to prevent any fall out from showing up, do the eyeliner before applying face makeup.  Then wipe it off, and continue along with your makeup.  Problem solved!  I'll update when I can about how well it lasts!

Aaaand....gorgeous!  The eyeliner is creamy, smooth, and pigmented.  Gorgeous.

2011 Wet'n'Wild Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils

Hey :)  I purchased several products from Wet'n'Wild yesterday (50% off until Saturday at Walgreens!) and I will be posting all of them in seperate posts by type.  These are the shimmer eyeliner pencils, in the colors copper and silver:

As you can see, these are wonderfully pigmented-these swatches only took one swipe, maybe two.  They are creamy, smooth, and longlasting. (I've had some of the copper color on my eyes for at least six hours, and it's still going strong.)  Silver is mostly shimmer, and if you look closely, you can find a bit of sparkle.  Copper is shimmery with a bit of gold sparkle.  (Disregard the purple, I'm doing a post on this next)

Definitely try these out, they are only 99 cents, or you can catch them on sale for 49 cents.
